What we're doing
Our Programs
At Eastern Social Pillar, our programs are built on one simple truth: real change starts close to home — in the lives of women, youth, and everyday people navigating the realities of poverty, climate change, and conflict.
Each program we run is designed with local voices, local challenges, and local dreams in mind. We don’t parachute solutions — we walk alongside communities to co-create them.
Climate & Livelihoods Resilience
We support communities to adapt to climate shocks through tree-planting, sustainable farming, water access, and eco-friendly livelihoods. From village gardens to solar-powered water pumps, we help communities secure their environment and their income.
Youth & Women Empowerment
We create safe spaces for young people and women to lead — through skills training, entrepreneurship support, leadership coaching, and civic engagement. We believe change is strongest when everyone is at the table, especially those too often left out.
Peacebuilding & Dialogue
In places where conflict threatens to divide, we work to build bridges. Through interfaith and intergenerational dialogues, we promote understanding and peaceful coexistence. From small mediation circles to community forums, we choose
unity over silence.
Community Awareness & Social Engagement
Our outreach teams lead education campaigns on issues like gender-based violence, environmental protection, and social responsibility — ensuring knowledge becomes action,
and action becomes change.
